Had a great time last night. Nice weather and decent snow for mid March! Liked the DJ and the outside music also! It added another level of energy and fun to the evening. Hopefully we have an extra week in here somewhere!!!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for doing the Polar Blast tubing/Advisor Day. What a blast!! I took the entire family and they absolutely loved it! Seeing my two year olds' face as he was spinning while laughing his head off was priceless. I do think you should offer some type of tubing detox because it took the kids several long hours to get out of tube mode :-)

My sons said that Saturdays Big Air was the best competition they have ever been to. Everything went very smoothly and your crew all deserve a big Thumbs Up !!!!!

On Feb. 25, I came to Boston Mills for the first time in nearly 30 years. I only resumed skiing after a 17 year absence this last season.
The main purpose of my visit was to take a lesson and practice my technique. I had the exceedingly good fortune and pleasure to receive instruction from Herta S. She gave me the necessary tools I will keep in mind going forward as I seek to improve my skills: she teaches with good humor and common sense. I would absolutely request to receive instruction from her again, and I have already recommended her to some friends of mine. Boston Mills is indeed fortunate to have her on the staff.

I just wanted to say thank you to the folks at BMBW for a great season so far. I had my two sons (7 & 10) with me on Saturday and we had a blast. As PAD holders we have been out quite a bit this season and it has been lots of fun. In early December when there was 1/2" of natural snow fall you guys had the hoses going and the cats moving and haven't stopped since.
Saturday was like a day at a playground. The slopes were great, the weather perfect and the elements were fun. I think there a lot snobby skiers who would criticize BMBW for not having the long cruisers. You guys have worked hard to make what you have challenging and entertaining. The fact is that there are no 1000+' slopes in the area. That doesn't mean you can't have a blast in your own backyard.
Lastly the people make the BMBW experience worth coming back for. I went to another Ohio ski area east of Cleveland on Sunday and didn't have nearly the experience I had the day before at BM. You have done a great job of selecting young workers who are polite and gracious to your guests rather than the dreaded "too-cool for you" kind of attitude that often comes from unsupervised teen workers. The smiles and greetings go along way to make your guests feel like part of the BMBW family.
Congratulations on all that you have done and thanks for making our season a great one.

You and your staff did an excellent job in making my son, myself and the rest of our friends and family have a terrific time for Daniel's 10th birthday party.
From the moment we arrived at your lodge you met us outside the door to facilitate our getting our tables, lift tickets, orders for pizza, drinks, and getting our selves ready to go have some great time on the hills.

What an wonderful time we had tubing Polar Blast! We have four children ranging from 3 -12 and tubing was definitely a sport we could all enjoy. Our 3 year old especially enjoyed the hot chocolate! It was a great afternoon for all of us! We saw the birthday special and intend to take advantage of that for our 10 year old in February. Thanks to Nancy for being the perfect Lodge Mom.

I just wanted to say thank you to Kim and Warren for being such a huge help and accommodating all of our needs when we check in or have questions. It seems as though this year has been so smooth. Dixie and Brian are awesome and very friendly when they come on the bus to explain to the students all the details for the day. The instructors have been very patient with our students during their lessons. I just wanted to say thank you again for having us and all that you guys do at Brandywine. We love coming out every week. I can't believe next week will be our last week already!

My son (age 14) has never skied before, and on a visit to Ohio, we went to Boston Mills twice for lessons and a day out on the slopes. Martin found the instructors really helpful, understanding, and encouraging. He now loves learning to ski! Of course, it will be awhile until he skis again as we are returning to Australia soon. It is summer there right now. Again, let me thank everyone for being so nice and helpful. Your expertise and commitment to your learners program made his first skiing encounters a positive and fun experience. And I enjoyed the fireplace! (January 2010)

Hi Kim and all of those involved in creating a winter fun experience at Brandywine. I wanted to share with you some of our experiences. My 12 year old daughter joined ski club thru her school last year (2008-2009) for the first time. She had never been on skis in her life but was excited to learn alongside her classmate friends.
I believe that your staff of ski instructors has put together an incredible learning experience for beginner to intermediate level kids. The reason I say this is because after just 3 lessons on your Brandywine slopes, she was invited to ski with her uncle in Colorado. We as parents were a little concerned that the level of skiing there would not match the level here, but we sent her anyway. I must say that she skied WinterPark as if she lived there. What an incredible opportunity and this was made possible by your instructor staff.
Now this year (2009-2010) season both my daughters ages 10 and 13 joined ski club thru school and the same can be said for my youngest daughter. I believe that if for no other reason than your lessons program, that ski club has helped my kids learn a sport that they can carry over into their adult life. Not to mention that it gives them something to do that is fun during those dog days of winter that many people want to just stay indoors and get fat!
Anyway, I thank you and encourage others to join their schools' ski club, or start one of their own. As I talk to other parents around our area I strongly encourage them to sign up for ski club if for no other reason than the lessons. This is a testament to your staff. (February 2010)

I just wanted to thank Dan for all of his help setting up our school field trip. Our school had 5 days off for teacher meetings. During this time we took advantage of the BMBW field trip program. Within one week of sign ups we had 80 people (parents, students and family members) join. The cost was such a great deal and everyone enjoyed themselves. Since the outcome was so large, we decided to start a ski club for our school next year. What a great way to peak people’s interest. It was a very economical way to find out if you like to ski or snowboard.
Dan and Kim were most accommodating. They are so nice and will do anything to make your planning as easy as possible. I really recommend any school try this. It was a great success! Thank you again for making this easy for me and fun for our school!! See you next season!
