Snow Squad for Ages 8 thru 14

Master the mountain, rule the race course, triumph over the terrain park—Kids can conquer it all in SnowSquad!

Whether you’re sliding/riding freestyle, cruising the slopes, or hitting the gates—there’s no boredom here.  With our winter playground as their classroom, SnowSquad members expand their abilities under the guidance of experienced Kids Academy Coaches and Special Guest Pro’s.  

Sliders and Riders of all levels are welcome in SnowSquad, and small group sizes help build confidence on the snow.

SnowSquad winter enthusiasm keeps going long after the lesson is over!

Snow Squad Includes:

• For Skiers, ages 9-14: (6) 2-hour lessons. Snow Squad lessons for skiing are held at both Boston Mills and Brandywine. The Saturday and Sunday afternoon lessons run from 1:30pm-3:30pm. The Sunday morning lessons run from 9:30am-11:30am. Snow Squad lessons start the weekend of 1/2/10-1/3/10. 

  Snow Squad students must attend the same session time and resort for the entire six weeks. Supervision is not provided before or after the lessons. Make-up lessons are not available if a student is absent from a regularly scheduled class. However, if Boston Mills/Brandywine must cancel, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.

• For Snowboarders, ages 8-14: (6) 2-hour lessons. Snow Squad lessons for snowboarding are only available at Brandywine. The Saturday and Sunday afternoon lessons run from 1:30pm-3:30pm. The Sunday morning lessons run from 9:30am-11:30am. Snow Squad lessons start the weekend of 1/2/10-1/3/10.

  The child must take his or her lesson at the same time and resort for the entire six weeks. supervision is not provided before or after the lessons. Make-up lessons are not available if a student is absent from a regularly scheduled class. However, if Boston Mills/Brandywine must cancel, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.

• Additional on-slope time during lesson weeks. After any lesson, and before any lesson except the first, Snow Squad students can enjoy some additional skiing time at Boston Mills.

  Supervision is not provided before or after the lessons.

• On the last day, parents can ski with their children for free! We provide the lift tickets and rentals, if needed.

• Additional skiing visits at the end of the program. After the six weeks of lessons are complete, children who participate are welcome to visit BMBW on their scheduled day only, as long as they wear their assigned neck tag, for the remainder of the season to practice their skills at no additional cost.

How to Sign Up for Snow Squad:

Program size is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is full or until the program deadline of December 15, 2009. Proof of age may be required.

The best time to sign up for the Snow Squad is at our Open House--Oct. 16, 17 & 18--because Open House pricing is the BEST pricing available for all of our passes and programs No telephone or mail orders are accepted for Open House prices.  You must buy in person at Boston Mills or purchase online during that weekend to receive Open House pricing.
No exceptions.

PLEASE NOTE: When you sign up for the program, you will be required to provide a valid email address. We use email to communicate throughout the season with the Snow Squad parents; typically, our weekly program emails include reminders of the weekly theme and upcoming special program events, and we also send a few emails at the beginning of the season to make sure you and your child are ready to get started on the slopes!  In the rare instance that a lesson time needs to be canceled for the week, we use email to let you know.  We may also let you know about events and passs that are tailored to your child's age... but we keep those to a minimum (no more than a handful each year) because we know just how busy parents are these days! We NEVER sell, rent, or otherwise share your email address.
